Fulmar chicks ringed at colonies on the East coast of Scotland at the Isle of May and at Inchkeith were recaptured as breeding adults at the Hunstanton colony 14, 15 and 20 years later. The recruitment clearly demonstrates the southerly range expansion of this speciesover the last 100 years which has been so successful..
