FB44745 tagged VJ was seen at La Janda, on 5 and 6 December 2016, and on 5 November 2017 at Isla Christina.
La Janda, like many wetlands in Spain, was drained for agricultural purposes in the middle of the last century.Nowadays in winter La Janda is an area of flooded rice fields, and has a high concentration of Marsh Harriers that winter here. This is the third bird that has been tagged in this project that has been seen at La Janda. With two others seen elsewhere in Spain. Some of these have been seen on multiple occasions.
On the 24 May 2018 FB44745 was seen at Haddiscoe Marsh, near Fritton, Norfolk, UK 6 km from where he was ringed.
On the 4 August and again on the 8 September 2018 was seen at Belton, Norfolk, UK not far from where he was ringed  and then seen on the 12 November at Burgh Castle, 4 km from where he was ringed.
On the 30 March 2019 this male bird was seen interacting with a female at Pont d'Ardres, Pas-de-Calais, France, there is every possibility that they will nest here but nesting was not confirmed. Next reported seen at Belton, Norfolk, UK on the 24 December 2019 and has been seen several times since in Norfolk at Belton, Burgh Castle and Fritton Marsh the latest time was on the 6 January 2021 there have been no further sightings in France.
